Kelly has a wealth of experience working with young people as a teacher, learning disability and mental health practitioner and counsellor.
Kelly currently works in primary and secondary schools as a school counsellor. She has experience working with a vast range of issues include grief, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, low self-esteem, stress, self-harm, OCD and disclosures of abuse in both mainstream and education outside of school.
Kelly uses a range of models including psychodynamic, person centred and cognitive behavioural therapy as well as sand play and art.
Kelly is a registered professional member of BACP and works within their strict code of ethics alongside the school’s child protection policy. She is passionate that children have the space to feel heard and that their mental health is a priority in tackling the stresses they face in everyday life.
